This piece was born in 2014. I was drawing a lot of round cows, and decided to place them in a delicate formation in the Oxford Spires. I painted a whole series, a herd even, of cow art pieces that were then displayed in all three branches of G&D's, the homegrown ice cream shops in Oxford. I guess this was my big break!

This painting represents politics, hierarchy, neo-liberalism and... nah, just kidding, it represents pink cows trying to do their best while being observed by students, academics and tourists every day - even on their lunch breaks.
